Level

Level is a rental apartment building at 2 North 6th Place on the Williamsburg waterfront in Brooklyn, developed by Douglaston Development. It sits at the foot of North 6th Street, where the street meets the East River, as part of the waterfront complex the developer built on the former industrial piers.

The NYC Ferry East River landing at North 6th Street is directly at the building, connecting to Midtown, Dumbo and Wall Street, and Marsha P. Johnson State Park and Domino Park are each a short walk along the shoreline. The L train at Bedford Avenue is three blocks inland, and the bars, music venues and shops of North 6th, Berry Street and Wythe Avenue are immediately around.

Completed in 2016, the 40-story building holds 554 apartments on the stretch of waterfront around North 6th Street that was redeveloped after the 2005 rezoning of the Greenpoint and Williamsburg shoreline. Douglaston Development, which built it, later developed 3ELEVEN in Manhattan’s Hudson Yards area.

Few buildings in New York sit closer to a ferry landing: the North Williamsburg stop is at the foot of the building, with direct service to East 34th Street, Dumbo and Wall Street.
