Avalon Brooklyn Bay

Avalon Brooklyn Bay is a rental apartment building at 1501 Voorhies Avenue in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, owned and managed by AvalonBay Communities. It stands near the corner of Sheepshead Bay Road in the low-rise blocks just inland from the bay itself, on southern Brooklyn’s Atlantic shore.

The bay’s fishing piers and the restaurants of Emmons Avenue are two blocks south, with the footbridge across the inlet to Manhattan Beach beyond them. Brighton Beach, the Riegelmann Boardwalk and Coney Island run west along the ocean, and Ocean Avenue heads north toward Midwood and Prospect Park. The B and Q stop at Sheepshead Bay, one station from Brighton Beach.
