The Somerset

The Somerset is a rental apartment building at 1365 York Avenue in the Upper East Side, Manhattan, managed by Glenwood Management. It stands on York Avenue near East 73rd Street, in the band of postwar and later towers that lines the avenue between Lenox Hill and Yorkville.

The medical campuses of Weill Cornell Medicine, Rockefeller University and Memorial Sloan Kettering occupy the blocks to the south along York Avenue and the FDR Drive. John Jay Park is a block north, and the East River Esplanade runs along the water at the end of the street. The Q stops at 72nd Street beneath Second Avenue and the 6 stops at 68th Street-Hunter College under Lexington Avenue.
