Where Hell’s Kitchen meets Columbus Circle, One Columbus Place rises 51 stories over the block bounded by West 58th and West 59th Streets between Ninth and Tenth Avenues. The Brodsky Organization, a family-owned New York landlord, manages the tower at 1 Columbus Place, also addressed as 400 West 59th Street. Completed in 1998, it holds 729 apartments and was one of the first large rental buildings at this northern edge of Hell’s Kitchen.

Columbus Circle and the southwest corner of Central Park are a block east, with the Deutsche Bank Center and Lincoln Center just beyond. DeWitt Clinton Park and the Hudson River waterfront lie to the west, and John Jay College sits directly across Tenth Avenue.

Five subway lines meet a block away: the A, B, C, D and 1 all stop at 59th Street-Columbus Circle, and the N, Q, R and W reach 57th Street-Seventh Avenue.
