420 West 42nd Street is a rental apartment building at 420 West 42nd Street in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan, developed and managed by The Brodsky Organization. It stands between Ninth and Dyer Avenues on the same block as Manhattan Plaza, on the stretch of West 42nd Street that runs from the Theater District toward the Hudson.

The Port Authority Bus Terminal is a block east at Eighth Avenue, with Times Square and the Broadway theaters just beyond it. Theatre Row’s off-Broadway houses line the south side of West 42nd Street, and Hudson Yards, the Javits Center and Hudson River Park lie west. The A, C and E stop at 42nd Street-Port Authority, the 7 continues to 34th Street-Hudson Yards, and the S shuttle runs across to Grand Central.
