The Ocean

The Ocean is a rental apartment building at 1 West Street in Lower Manhattan, owned by the Moinian Group. It stands at the corner of West Street and Morris Street, at the southwestern tip of Manhattan facing Battery Park and New York Harbor.

The Battery, Castle Clinton and the Staten Island Ferry terminal at Whitehall are a short walk south, Bowling Green and the National Museum of the American Indian are a block east, and Battery Park City and the Hudson River esplanade run north along the water. The 4 and 5 at Bowling Green, the 1 at South Ferry and the R and W at Whitehall Street are all within a couple of blocks.
