Hub

Hub is a rental apartment tower at 333 Schermerhorn Street in Downtown Brooklyn, developed by Steiner NYC. On completion it was among the tallest buildings in Brooklyn, standing on the block where Schermerhorn Street meets Nevins Street and Flatbush Avenue.

The Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center complex, where nine subway lines and the Long Island Rail Road meet, is two blocks south, and the Hoyt-Schermerhorn A, C and G station is around the corner. The building sits between Downtown Brooklyn’s shopping core along Fulton Street and the brownstone blocks of Boerum Hill, with the New York Transit Museum, City Point and the Brooklyn Academy of Music all within a short walk.

Completed in 2017 and designed by Dattner Architects, Hub rises 55 stories and holds 750 apartments, including a share of income-restricted units leased through the city’s housing lottery. Its developer, Steiner NYC, is the company behind Steiner Studios, the film and television production campus at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

Hub sits almost exactly between Downtown Brooklyn’s office and shopping core and the brownstone blocks of Boerum Hill and Fort Greene, so residents can be in a high-rise with doorman service and still be a few minutes’ walk from tree-lined side streets, Atlantic Avenue’s shops and the restaurants along Smith Street.
