The Capitol is a rental apartment building at 776 Sixth Avenue in Chelsea, Manhattan, developed by Related Companies. It stands on the east side of Sixth Avenue at West 26th Street, directly across the avenue from 777 Sixth Avenue, in the block of towers built where Chelsea meets NoMad.

The Flower District’s wholesale greenery spills onto the sidewalks of West 28th Street just north, and Madison Square Park with the Flatiron Building is a short walk east. Penn Station and Herald Square are north along Sixth Avenue, and the Chelsea galleries and the High Line are west. The F and M stop at 23rd Street, the N, R and W at 28th Street on Broadway, and the 6 at 28th Street on Park Avenue South.

Completed in 2001, the 39-story tower holds 387 apartments and is one of the group of rental buildings that rose along Sixth Avenue in Chelsea around that year.
