Avalon Bowery Place

Avalon Bowery Place is a rental apartment development at 11 East 1st Street in Manhattan, owned and managed by AvalonBay Communities. It occupies the blocks just off the Bowery between East Houston and East 2nd Streets, on the seam where NoHo, the East Village and the Lower East Side meet.

The New Museum is a block south on the Bowery, and the building is surrounded by the music venues, restaurants and bars of the East Village, with Washington Square Park and NYU to the west and Nolita and the Lower East Side to the south. The F train at Second Avenue is at the corner, with the 6 at Bleecker Street and the B, D, F and M at Broadway-Lafayette a short walk west.
